Class Description

Travel back in time and join inquisitive archeologists, Taki and Tut, and their fossil friend, Lucy, as they explore the wonders of ancient civilizations. From the farm laborers of early Mesopotamia, Egytian mummies who “rap” to a chorus of ancient Greeks, and Romulus and Remus who dream of building a great city, your students will love discovering the archeological mysteries of the past. Songs include Empires Of The East, Greece Is The Word, Here's To The Future, In My Tomb, The Land Between Two Rivers, So Long Ago, and Toga Party Tonight.

Elementary and Lower Middle School students in this classroom-based musical play will use this creative script to enjoy learning about ancient civilizations and the theatre while they are on stage! Acting skills will be emphasized throughout the semester and all students will have opportunities to shine on stage. The semester will end in a showcase for friends and family!
