Since 1999, The Actors Conservatory Theatre has inspired children across North Texas to grow in their love of the performing arts, all while consistently providing audiences with high-quality, community-based children's theatre. Through many seasons, our mission has always remained the same: To foster the education of great classic literature for the young and young at heart, through a dedication to outstanding, all-inclusive, family-oriented theatre, right here in our own community.

Welcome to The ACT!

Goldilocks:  guilty or innocent? Was the young girl a selfish, spoiled brat, intruding where she didn't belong? Or was she the victim of three conniving bears and their animal "band of hoods" in the woods? Join the quest for the TRUTH with a hard-of-hearing judge, a harried clerk, two comic lawyers, and a surprising verdict from the jury (complete with a "happily-ever-after" conclusion), as we re-visit this familiar fairy tale from several different points of view. Students in this classroom-based play will use this creative script to learn about all aspects of putting together a show. They will take on every role, both on-stage and off, learning acting, voice, articulation, movement, and stage presence, all in the context of learning lines, playing roles, and preparing for performance. The last class will end in a staged show for friends and family!
