    • All participants must fill out a show application and mark all conflicts. This is due on or before January 10. See Audition Information and Production Crew Information for more details.

    • All participants must be 12 or older by June 3, 2025.

    • All participants are required to attend the TNT Youth Conference in Paris, TX, June 3 – 8, 2025, and pay all costs involved in attending the conference (conference fee, travel, housing, etc.).

    • Cast members pay an additional $95 show participation fee.

    • Participants must be committed to rehearsal attendance, role preparation, consistent practice, and line/song/choreo memorization on a deadline. This is a select show with a short rehearsal schedule. Participants who do not show up to reheardals prepared may have their roles reassigned.

  • How do I sign up?

Please sign up online for an audition time. Audition appointments begin at 4:20 PM on January 10. Music/dance callbacks will take place after all auditions are completed.

Please also complete both pages of the audition application, being sure to accurately indicate your availability on the schedule.

    What roles are available?

All roles are available. However, please be aware that this is a select show and not everyone who auditions will be cast. Previous casting in the tour show is not an indication of casting for this production.

Are there any roles that do not require singing or dancing?

Almost all roles involve singing and dancing; however, the “Vacationer” role is a lines-only, comedic character role. If this is the ONLY role that interests you and you do not wish to also be considered for a singing part, you may indicate this on your application and audition with just a monologue.

How do I prepare for the audition?

    • MONOLOGUE: Prepare a 1-minute monologue that demonstrates the attitude, personality, and energy of the character you are portraying.  Since there are no mics at TNT, projection and diction are especially important.  You must be able to be clearly heard!

    • SONG: Prepare a 1-minute song excerpt that demonstrates your singing abilities and shows that you can move and act while singing.

    • NOTE ON CHOOSING A MONOLOGUE AND A SONG: Some online sites recommend Seussical songs and monologues, but please do NOT bring those.  Be creative.

What is the director looking for?

Ms. Eliana has asked for actors who:

    • Can project their voices

    • Are willing to be vulnerable on stage

    • Have strong spatial awareness

    • Are prepared to work on their own performances while working to elevate the performances of others.

Being involved in the TNT show is an amazing experience! We hope to see you at auditions!

  • When are the dance call and callbacks scheduled?

All auditioners should be at the theatre by 7:30 PM to begin the dance call and callbacks.

How do I prepare for the dance call?

Please arrive wearing clothing that allows for a wide range of movement - no jeans or skirts. Bring jazz shoes and water. Upon arrival, you may stretch and warm up independently (there will not be a group led warm-up).

How do I prepare for callbacks?

All music cuts and acting sides for callbacks can be found online. They are organized by character. You may view these in advance to prepare: Callback sides

  • How do I get involved as a crew member?

Stage manager/crew applicants do not need to audition, but must also submit a completed show application with conflicts marked.

Complete both pages of the audition application, being sure to accurately indicate your availability on the schedule.

I won’t be auditioning. How and when do I turn in my crew application?

Applications may be turned in on or before Friday, January 10 to Ms. Christine’s inbox, located in The ACT office. Applications may also be filled out, scanned, and emailed to Ms. Christine.

How will I know if I have been selected as a crew member?

The production team will be in touch with you about your crew position.

As a crew member, do I pay the $95 show participation fee?

No. Only cast members pay this fee.

  • Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Book adapted by Lindsay Anderson. Music and orchestrations adapted and arranged by Myrna Conn. Based on the 2003 Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo written by Andrew Stanton, Bob Peterson, David Reynolds and directed by Andrew Stanton. Finding Nemo JR. is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
